GLYCINE AS A LIXIVIANT FOR THE LEACHING OF LOW GRADE
During the leaching of the AuCu sulfide ore, gold dissolution occurred concurrently with copper dissolution at 25 #176;C. This observation was attributed to galvanic interactions since the sulfide ore naturally contained pyrite. Increases in glycine concentration also improved the dissolution of both copper and gold from the sulfide ore. Upto 66 and 25 % Cu and Au, respectively, was leached
